Sinar Project does active research and monitoring on Internet censorship and collects evidence through test measurements. It collaborates with global partners such as Open Observatory of Network Interference (OONI)  which provides open infrastructure, tools and technical support for measurements, as well as regional partners and communities in Malaysia and Southeast Asia for on the ground testing and censorship reports.

With additional support of various partners such as APNIC Foundation and Open Technology Fund, we have been able to extend this work through additional research projects.
