Malaysian Budget Document Archives

Scanned copies of Malaysian Budget documents presented to parliament since 1959 are now available on Malaysian Government Document Archives project

Thanks to recent contribution of scanned budget documents by Research for Social Advancement (REFSA), over 50 years of Malaysian budget documents dating since 1959 are now available as digitally scanned and searchable copies for public. The budget documents were scanned as a research project by REFSA and funded by the Research Fund from the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science.

The budget documents are available at the following url:

The scanned documents still need work to deskew, split and clean up the images in order to provide more accurate OCR and PDF with text. This is a time consuming semi-automated process.
