Data Journalism Workshop for Malaysia who want to adopt data-driven, research-based methodology in their news investigation and reporting
This event is mostly to recruit people to help out of Sinar Project projects. We will start the event with introduction to Civic Tech, then we talk about project that we have, then try to see what project the participant interested.
A workshop for volunteers interested in helping with our open data and info collection efforts. We will cover the online collaboration tools we use such as Google Sheets for data entry and Slack for communications, content standards such as blacklist criteria and open licensing (because the info we collection must be freely accessible and reusable by the public).
